Title: on - access scanner message

Hi does any one know how i can stop the 'on-access scanner message'  popping up every time i visit a web page? I find this annoying. ???

It seems that you've changed the avast settings without knowing what you were doing...
This is an option disabled by default. You can turn it off going to the Standard Shield provider settings, Advanced tab an unchecking 'Show detailed information on action performed'. You can do this for the other providers too.

Welcome to avast. The most configurable antivirus around  8)

Many thanks for your reply,however I have done what you told me too and found that te boxes are ' Unchecked ' anyway. do you have any other ideas??

Hi there this topic should now close,after your comment about changing things and had a futher check and found under 'WEB Sheild' a checked box to which i unchecked it and this has cleared the fault. funny thing is I haven't messed about with it as I don't know enough to alter the boxes for fear of unbalancing the checker.
