I've had the same password for several years.  I tried to sign in but it showed my password wasn't right. I got an email from Avast with a link about how to change password.  I can't open any links, just copy and paste. I don't know why but I had to change it twice.

Well not being able to actually see what is on your screen, we can't possibly comment.  File corruption can happen, which may or may not effect your ability to log on, at least the email notification is there to cater for such occurrences.

But all is well now or you wouldn't be signed in on your normal avast forum username.
