Title: Avast Continuously checks external USB Drive - Even though Excluded - Fix?

I do not know if this aplies to Avast Antivirus Beta - I cannot find a section for Avast Free

I have a laptop with an external USB drive (3 Partitions).
This is for backup only, so if no virus on main Drive (3 partitions inc C), then there is no virus on USB.

I have all three partitions in exceptions, yet Avast continually checks it 247.

The only way to stop this is to stop avast for a time or until next restart.

Why?

How do i stop avast checking this drive?

PS - Why is the captcha so difficult???

Why is the audio captcha not very clear ?????

The captcha is there for the first 3 posts to stop spammers.
