Title: How to set up a scan task??

I want to scan my computer before enter the system, but I don't know how to setup the software? Can anyone help me ? Thank you.

Hello and Welcome :)

So, you want to do a boot-time scan ?
To schedule a boot-time scan do the following. Start avast! antivirus -> Menu -> Schedule Boot-time scan ;)
Please note that the boot-time scanner works only on NT based systems (like WinNT, Win2000, WinXP) ;)

There is another question. While I opened the software, it showed me the simple user interface and if I chose "don't show it next time" , it would warn that there was a script mistake on the current window. How to fix this problem? I use Internet Explorer 7 ??? ???

Set ShowHelpCheckList=1 at [Simple] section of avast4.ini file.
