I see that all the other P2P programs are supported why isnt eDonkey and ED2K links not supported?

I think that would be a very useful feature!

edonkey,

Well, speaking generally about how Avast grows....
I would think that the Avast team looks at popularity, stability, and format of the program/s in contention and their compatability with Avast.

Donkey and Ed2 are not on the top of the list for file sharing programs in general use.  As far as their compatibily with Avast......Not sure if they have been tested.

However, if you feel that they donkey and Ed2 should be considered, then email Avast at support@asw.cz

Thanks for the suggestion

Hi, we plan to add support for many P2P and MES programs soon. The only sad thing is that this support will work only on Win-NT systems (WinNT,2000,XP,...). The reason is that support for these programs on Win9x systems is more complicated and take a much time to implement it... pavels
