Hi, just purchased Avast Antivirus for 10 devices. I have installed on my laptop and upgraded my free version on my Samsung phone. No the app is asking to set up Web Control but every time I try to log into my Avast account, it tells me my login is incorrect -- even though I know it is the same as I just used it to log into my account from my laptop. I even tried logging out of the web version on my laptop to see if that was the issue, and it is not.
Has this issue been reported already? I did not find any results when I searched the forum.

I take it this is when you try to set up anti-theft. Which option (Google, Facebook, Email) do you use to log in?
Have you tried re-installing the AMS app on your device?

I am having the exact same issue. I log in using the email option, which is how I log in on my mobile phone and on my desktop. I've changed the password on my desktop 3 times trying to sync with the mobile app for the Anti-Theft feature and each time, it does not recognize the password. This is odd b/c I use the new password to log into my account both on mobile and desktop. Why is the Anti-Theft not recognizing the same password?!?

Why is this issue handled via private messages? The purpose of a forum - to my understanding - is to make information available for everyone to see.
I came here to find the solution to my issue and I find this thread with no useful information in it. Why?
And back to the topic at hand:
I enabled two factor authentication for my account but Avast Mobile Security gives the incorrect credentials before asking for two factor codes.
I'm using a password manager. The credentials are definitely correct. This should work out of the box. Please don't tell me the mobile app doesn't support the two factor authentication workflow or something along those lines.

I tried that but its telling me since i'm not a premium user I won't get any direct support and that i should go to the forum.

I am having this same issue. And as the other users, I am not able contact support via the app as it is telling me I am not a premium user. But that is the problem, I can't get premium on my app as I can't sign in! Please help me. Very frustrating. And asking, as many others here, why is this something you can't help on the forum but you send a PM so that others can't see the solution?

Subscriptions bought via Google Play is only available in your Google account and not in your Avast Account.

I have the same issue as the previous users.
I have sent a request to the avast support but nobody is answering me.
May you please give us an answer about how to solve this issue (if you know how to do it) and make this joke end? We are premium users who paid for a service which is not provided at the moment

I got an email saying that we have to uninstall all avast apps and delete any avast account on the mobile. Then we should remove the mobile from the list of devices in our avast account. Basically we should remove any link between the mobile device and the avast account. After this, we should install again the avast security app into the mobile phone.
I haven't tried this out yet because I have no idea about how to remove a device from my avast account online, I cannot find any way for doing this.

I solved it.
Just needed to uninstall all avast apps from the phone and delete any connection/account from the device. When reinstalling, make sure that you login directly into your avast account from the app, this means NOT using the activation code.

Fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling it on my phone
