When I went back to my PC today, it had a message that Avast had updated software and I needed to reboot. I went ahead and hit the reboot. Now I can't get Windows to open. The screen with the blue square just shows the dots circling and circling. I tried doing a diagnostic and it opens, but doesn't respond after the page appears. How can I get my PC working again? It is backed up, but I can't even get far enough to do a recovery.
