Title: password problem

hey, I have never sett a password on avast ,when i want to stop it to install internet, it asks for password.can u please help me  :(

Which is your avast version?
Are you using 4.7.936?

Please download the full installer of the Professional (http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-professional.html) or Home (http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html) version and run it. It will offer you an update to build 938 where this problem should be corrected.

I am tryimg to install internet ex 7.

and it dont install,i am getting message to stop all anti virus and spyware programs.but when i try to stop avast,it starts asking me for password.

Please:
1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
2. Boot.
3. Use Avast Uninstall (http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-uninstall-utility.html) for complete uninstallation.
4. Boot.
5. Install avast 4.7.942 version

ye it solved the password problem but i still cant install explorer7,thank u all.

Do you really think this is avast related?
I can't imagine why?

What is the installation error message?
Why can't you install IE7?
