can I leave my computer when I'm activating avast virus scanner ?
cuz I already tried that and what surprise me is when avast
found a virus, it stopped the scanning progress and a message
dialog is came up and asking what step to do.
the dialog message is fine with me, but what surprise me
is that the scanning progress is also halted at that time.
which make me can't leave the avast when it was scanning.
becoz when it found a virus it will show the dialog message in which
I had to interact with.
can this behaviour changed ??

The resident protection (on-access) will always be turned on...
cuz I already tried that and what surprise me is when avast found a virus, it stopped the scanning progress and a message dialog is came up and asking what step to do.
It shouldn't surprise you as it's an avast Home limitation. Only in Professional version you could automatically manage on-demand scannings.
