Problem: Outlook feezes when downloading e-mail checked by Avast Anitvirus 4.7 Home.
Details: using Outlook/WinXP > downloading 5-30 e-mails > freezes > CPU-utiliation goes up to 90-95% > does not recover > using Task-manager to kill Outlook/task. When pausing Avast-Antivirus > e-mails are received normally. Besides Advil, my system has other Outlook-plugins loaded that did not cause any problem (Plaxo, SpamBayes, Skype). I reinstalled Anitvirus without success.
Can anyone help? Thanks much - SBD
