Title: Avast blocking HappyScribe
Post by: damomac on May 14, 2021, 04:04:37 PM
I'm a regular user of www.happyscribe.com (http://www.happyscribe.com), an online transcription service.

Yesterday, Avast Online Security marked the website as "unsafe", claiming it was a phishing site. After I was unable to find a way to make an exemption for HappyScribe, I had to uninstall Avast Online Security from Chrome so I could use HappyScribe and get some important work done.

Today, Avast Free Antivirus has been trying to block access to HappyScribe. Again, I can't find a way to make an exemption so I've had to disable my Antivirus altogether.

I tweeted about my experience to both companies yesterday but got no response from either.
