Title: update message is missing

avast updates itself normally but i dont get any message that the program is updated..u know what i mean..the message that usually appears each time that avast does an update..i've checked the update settings and everything is fine..i dont know y this is happening..

If you check avast logs, is there anything related to update failures?

nope..i found logs saying that avast updated successfully..i noticed that in program settings/update(basic)/details the box "show icon in task bar tray" is unticked..is this the update message i'm looking for?

the problem is fixed but i dont know how..avast just works ok..i didnt modified any option..

Your settings are ok for showing the panel after the update.
The uncheck option is for the icon, not for the panel.
I hate mysteries... but they make part of the life...
