Any incoming message that has an attachment gets it's email body deleted. The attachment is fine.
If I pause the Internet mail provider, everything works fine.
Is there a solution to this problem ? My only option at the moment is to turn virus checking off, or use a different product .....

Hi,
Which e-mail client are you using?
Does the sender use Pocomail and Avast? If so, there's a bug described (nr. 901) when somebody who sends attachments in Pocomail in combination with the outgoing signature of Avast. The receiver will always receive a blank body message.
Or maybe this bug is on the side of the receiver?
This bug is under investigation by Poco Systems.

got this (problem) too, i think it has to do with javasrcipt or vbs coding, because it happens with html mail only. got a 50k mail and it empty ??? , seems avast cleaned/replaces data without beeing infected. terminate avast does not bring the mail back

Do you have the option to add info to uninfected messages on?

Same here.
Avast! deleted body of my two e-mails (plain text). At first I thought the sender screwed up, but it happened again today. BTW I am using OE6.
Do you have the option to add info to uninfected messages on?
I just checked my emails and add info was on. I suspected that this could cause a problem so I switched it off.

Yesterday I received newsletters in HTML & plain text and I only received Avast's signature or only pictures for HTML.
Using Pocomail version 3.0.3 1742 NLD.
??? The funny thing is that other newsletters, also HTML & plain text, did come through.
My Avast Pro-version is set to 'adding text on incoming and outgoing'.
This all happened since I updated, so maybe there's a bug.
