Title: Avast error in log files
Post by: Marc57 on March 27, 2007, 08:05:45 PM
OS: Vista HP

In computer management/ Event viewer/ applications and service logs/Antivirus/

There are many entries by Avast with this error:

- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
- <System>
  <Provider Name="avast!" />
  <EventID Qualifiers="16896">90</EventID>
  <Level>2</Level>
  <Task>4</Task>
  <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords>
  <TimeCreated SystemTime="2007-03-27T07:46:44.000Z" />
  <EventRecordID>57</EventRecordID>
  <Channel>Antivirus</Channel>
  <Computer>Pavilion</Computer>
  <Security />
  </System>
- <EventData>
  <Data>AAVM - scanning error: FATAL: GetQueuedCompletionStatus failed!!!!!, 00000006.</Data>
  </EventData>
  </Event>[

Avast seems to be running fine, so is this anything to worry about?

Edit: I'm also using the latest version of Avast.

Thanks in advance.
