Title: VDRB: What's the definition of "idle"??
Post by: jdong on April 26, 2003, 09:23:29 PM
I was just wondering, what does Avast consider as "Idle"? If I have a CPU-intensive screensaver or a defrag running, will Avast start VDRB generation?

Yes it will. By default, 'idle' means that no user input has been detected for more than 5 seconds (first time 20 seconds).
