Title: avast causing BSOD
Post by: tequilashots on June 11, 2021, 01:18:25 PM
Hi

Over the past few weeks i have been having recuring BSOD which make reference to   aswbidsdriver.sys and aswnethub as casuing my pc to crash and reboot.

I have examined the dump files using windbg which make reference to the following :

Unable to load image aswbidsdriver.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswbidsdriver.sys
Win32 Start Address aswbidsdriver (0xfffff80196888c70)

Can some assist or is there a fix for this bug on the way

i have used avast for many years without any problems and would like to continue doing so if this bug gets fixed

thanks

Thanks for your reply

up until about 4 weeks ago i had have been using avast and malwarebytes without any crashes (BSOD) and think that recent updates in either avast or mwb has caused the problem.
