Title: AVAST Blocking me from AMAZON ?

Hi Guys,

Just starting today, I am all of a sudden being blocked from accessing Amazon.com, by Avast Browser Security (on Chrome). Whenever I try to sign on, I get this message :

 This site can’t be reached

www.amazon.com unexpectedly closed the connection.
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED

Then, a pop up from Avast comes on saying it is aborting the connection because of this :

d3ag4hukkh62yn.cloudfront.net is infected with URL:Mal

I reload and reload and while I sometimes get the site back, it eventually shuts down again with the same error messages.

This has never happened before, especially not with Amazon.

Any ideas on what I can do to clear this up ?

Hello hannon31.

No unfortunately it looks its not. Can you please let us know the version of the Avast Online Security extension you are using?

As mentioned in the previous thread you can try to use the amazon app in the meantime https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=284118.msg1629393#msg1629393
