I like Blogger. It's free, has nice templates, has solid posting and comments control, trackback (backlinks). But the thing is, although Blogger allows editing html code directly, it's not that friendly code at all.

I use WordPress.  Unlimited text & up to 50 mb of pictures for free.

Since this thread is about blogs, post your blog here as you vote & comment.

Blogs contain peoples interests & opinions, so anyone who isn't tolerant shouldn't read blogs.

Here's my blog: The Cross (http://thecross.wordpress.com)

I have links to some great FREE software on my blog. ;)

Just like Zagor, my vote goes to Blogger.
It's simple enough to use that even a dummy like me can create a Blog.  ;D

I'll swap you some of your Sun for lots of our rain ;D ;D

Rained a lot yesterday and last night, some sun today but overcast and 25c at the moment though. The pond at the back of my house is quite high (but no problem) at the moment.

We have no problem with the wind, lots of that too, as it is usually bending the trees.

You might have noticed the lack of a fence at the back of my house. The wind blew it down a couple of times and I decided not to bother repairing/replacing it again, spoilt the view and kept the moor hens out of my garden.

It's a very pretty place David.
Hope the lake is stocked with fish.

Although it is only a small 'pond' in a tear drop shape about 40 yards long by 20 yards wide, there are hundreds of fish in it, all Goldfish ;D

Years ago someone dumped about 5 or 6 in there and they have flourished. We even have a heron that arrives most mornings for breakfast, it catches quite a few but there are lots more left.

If you throw any bread in they act like piranha see image (heavily edited to reduce the size).

Hi DavidR,

A heron mostly knows his way with goldfish, because he does not have to wear spectacles to see it. Good you do not have that many as we have here in Holland, because they would have emptied your pond in no time. Funny is that we have plenty of heron here, and storks almost became extinct (we have them in captivity), in Poland it is just the other way around plenty of stork, heron (czapla) almost went extinct there.

No, we don't have many Heron in the UK, there are two in my area, but they only ever appear one at a time. It took ages to realise that there were two herons as the markings are so similar, one has a flight feather missing that is noticeable in flight as they come in to land.
