Title: Win32:NcaseSpy [Trj]
Post by: Antoinette on February 21, 2004, 04:56:21 PM
Can someone help please. Yesterday my roomate was trying to download something from the internet and she got a virus warning. I deleted what she tried to download and I also deleted any files that came up with that warning. I then ran Microtrends Housecall online scan and it came up clean. However any time I reboot or run avast! then I get a new file that contains this trojan. Isn't there anything I can do to get rid of it all together so it doesnt keep spreading? Also why didnt Housecall pick up on it? Any help is appreciated.

Like the name said ncase (http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/nCase.html) is more Spy/Adware than a Trojan. You should try SpybotSD (security.kolla.de) and Adaware(www.lavasoft.de) to get rid of it and clean your TIF(temporary internet files)and Temp folder(s).
