Hello,
After first installation of AVAST and trying to do thorough scan, I have got blue screen (win 2000, SP4) !!! (QUICK and STANDARD has worked)
Probably, I need to exclude some system files???
PLEASE HELP

Send me the latest file \windows\minidump\MiniXXXXX.dmp .
I'd guess a hardware problem. :(
An on-demand scan doesn't use any kernel-mode code so chances that it'd cause a blue-screen by itself are very low...

Very strange, but dump file wasn't created, inspite of this option is checked (I have just some old dump files). More of this, there are ANY event in EventLog. I'll try to run it again with thorough option...

well... from third times it works ::) probably HW problems as you mentioned. Anyway, 10x for the fast response

Could you explain better what do you mean... ::)

It was crashed without ANY dump file two times, when I run thorough scan to all partitions. When I run it again, without any changes in configuration and updating it was completed successfully.
