HI,
Is the first time i use the avast anti-virus and i've already received my registration key, but the ".exe" file does
seems to exist.
It's the second time i' ve downloaded the setup of the free Home Avast 4 and still appears a shortcut in my desktop that does not work.... and also because that "ashAvast.exe" file does not exists in my Programs + Avast file.
I thought it was from an error, but twice in different setup languages????
What can i do?
Is there anyone that can solve my problem?

Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?
Were you experiencing any problems before you installed avast ?
You may have had an infection before installation that is killing ashavast.exe.
