Correct-o Mun-d-o.....Dan (anti-spyware AVGAS??) originally ewido was touted as the Anti-Trojan program. Have to agree the original Ewido was a terrific program ???

Antivir has one vote ;D
It could have been worse....
Someone could have picked Norton (Symantec) ;D
Unfortunately this is a completely meaningless pole.
Totally biased answers and wouldn't help avast in it's overall ratings. :)

I agree, maybe chinhis13 should have thought about http://www.wilderssecurity.com/ there is a poll: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=160734

:) I think AVAST HOME is excellent but Dr.Web detects viruses where Avast does not. I dropped AVG free for their problems (constant) with the updates and their worthless forum (compared to the wealth we find at AVAST). ;D
-
Thanks so much for voting :)

For the same reason, I'm here.
chinhis13, don't forget to try wilders forum as I've posted before.

After reading that I just had to vote for Norton :D Sorry, Bob :D
Norton is a vile piece of crap. I've reformatted and installed Ubuntu since the chap who built my computer installed XP and Norton (against my wishes) but I'm sure there must be pieces of Norton on here still LOL. (We all know hard Norton is to uninstall)
-
If i understood you correctly , you uninstalled windows and put on Ubuntu just because you had Norton installed ???
Maybe i should start putting Norton's on my friends pc's maybe then they would see the light of Linux hahaha ;D

Aah! I see how you misunderstood what I said, I could have explained it better than that.

The chap who built my computer installed Norton on XP against my wishes. I uninstalled Norton but I was still finding remnants of Norton 6 months later. After deciding to try Linux I reformatted and installed Ubuntu but I'm sure there must be pieces of Norton on here still LOL. Any clearer? :)
Installing Norton on your friends' computers is a nasty and devious thing to do and you ought to be ashamed of yourself for even thinking that ;D
What will you think of next... drive-by downloads of Norton?
