Title: trojan istactivex.dll

i posted this once already but for some reason 1st post is gone . can someone tell me what the trojan i refer to in the title is and what cosequences it will have on my system? system is p4, 2.6 gh on asus p4p800mb , 512mb ddr ram, 80 g hdd

Sometimes a Google seach for the file name and/or the virus(trojan) name could give you a lot of information about it and its desinfection...  ;)

sorry to give u wrong info its actually ISTDNLDR-B-UPX which is the name a/v( version 4.1 home ed ) gave it but in virus chest it named it with the dll so i wasnt sure. I also did the google search which led me guess where?, back to the Avast site and there it was but wow so many, so im still wondering is there anything ive gotta worry about as a result of having had this bug on my system?

You can run a deep scan in your system (if you have XP, at boo-time) or even run an on-line scanner... If nothing were detected so, don't worry, avast! did its job  8)
