How can i save avatars in my forum profile??
it is always error..
[the size is too big or not an avatar]
need help.. ;D ;D

We try to keep avatars around 100 X 100 for those who don't have high resolution monitors.
Though that is unlikely to be the reason more likely is the physical file size as there is a restriction there, though I can't recall what it is but it is over 100KB I believe. The file types .jpg, .gif, .png usualy work fine anything else I don't know if that might be an issue.
You seem to have found a way round it as your avatar is working.

When you upload a correct avatar size ???it always warns you as up mentionned it is too big and it's not an avatar. Though it worked on other forums... So I used the one currently at work, not my choice. :'(
??? I used a search on the Avast forum for Avatar and used the first link for about 18 pages of avatars (choice...) but it still won't work out. By the way, is somebody able to tell me how to paste an image with the image button in this text editor. It won't show or work.

We had the same problem before..
But now.. i have some tips..
1. find and choose an avatar..
2. save it to your computer..
3. Then, go to this site http://www.imageshack.us/ (http://www.imageshack.us/)
4. Click browse, and choose the avatar that you save.
5. Click Host it!
6. Wait.. Wait..
7. Copy the URL Direct Link to image
8. Go to your Profile -> Modify Profile
9. Choose "i have my own pic", then paste the URL.
10. change profile.
That's it.. ;D ;D ;D

I found these avatars last week on the forum web site (older link) but can't remember where. I'll try to post here if I remember. The Avatars were already done like that :)!

I didn't make a forum member SasH, A.K.A. 'SCZ' made it for me and a very good job he did.
The link Darth_Mikey posted is the ones that Sasha has made for others previously. Most will have the name of the person they were made for but there are many others not personalised.
