Title: Will Avast Free Antivirus be no longer free?
Post by: Hùng2 on August 21, 2021, 07:35:43 AM
Norton LifeLock is merging with Avast, which already owned AVG. Some articles said that Norton LifeLock is planning to kill of free versions of Avast, AVG and Avira that they bought last year. So could someone tell me is it true, please? I wonder what will happen to Avast Free Antivirus in the future, and also with other Avast products?

Far to early to say one way or another speculation  isn't helpful.  To do this would potentially see huge numbers leave and that isn't good if they want to convert them to paid services.

If you have a credible source then give it.
