Title: avast vpn on kodi / openvpn
Post by: jjplano on August 28, 2021, 12:49:29 AM
hi! I want to set up my avast vpn secure line on my kodi player (raspberry pi)

it's asking me the .ovpn, .crt and .key files needed to do so, and I can't find anything on the avast site

where can I download those? thanks

ok, there are not available configurations files to download. another reason to label SecureLine as the crapiest VPN out there

but I got a workaound, that it's making my windows PC a wifi hotspot with an active VPN, and then connecting devices to it.

and it works, but there's no way to make it work if you have the avast antivirus firewall active. I've tried to change the rules to let the secureline vpn service open to all in and out connections, and this crappy firewall keeps blocking it no matter what...

anyone can help? or I shoud just scrap all the avast software from my machine altogether and search for better options?

thanks
