Title: Another MS Outlook XP question
Post by: Meriwidow on February 29, 2004, 01:26:33 AM
When I first set up Avast, I neglected to ask it to check all my email accounts. So it is catching virus emails in only one account. Is there a way to add my second account so it scans that as well?

I think all you need to do is go to START - PROGRAMS - Avast! Antivirus, and run the Mail Protection Wizard again.

Wait a moment, if you're talking about Outlook XP, there's no need to run any Wizards. Outlook will be covered automatically by the Outlook/Exchange provider.

Generally, if you see the avast Outlook/Exchange splash screen when starting Outlook, you're all set. :)

See if avast add-in is running: Outlook > Tools menu > Options > 'Other' tab > Advanced Options > Add-In Manager  ;)
