Here we goooo, webpage optimized, extended and updated.
Should be no problem now even for 28 Kbps line ;)

IE6 usually throws DNS error or it takes very long to find the domain. I can't do anything about this.

Opera resolves and loads the page quiet faster than IE.

Loaded nice and fast for me with no problems, on IE-6 -- and I'm on a 56 dialup.  :D

(Edit) OMG, just noticed this post just bumped me up to "senior".  No wonder I've got gray hair.  ;D

It has something to do with your ActiveX permissions in your browser.  I think.

I renewed the page again :) I removed news since i had problems with caching (old stuff was still there) and i don't have time to watch for all news and adding them to my page.

I also added 4 tests for mail scanners and browsers, redesigned some sections with free programs and add a new extremely powerful multi-engined webscanner named Jotti Virus Scan (doesn't require ActiveX and works in all browsers).
It uses more than 5 engines to check single file!
I sent them idea of adding avast! too if possible :)
Hope it will be something out of this :)

Regards
Raz

Nice update!
What about autopatcher page? How does it work?
Title: Re:My Security webpage
Post by: RejZoR on July 14, 2004, 02:02:41 PM
Autopatcher is a package with most (if not all) patches for windows in one nice setup program. You download it once and you just burn it on CD-RW,so you don't have to visit Windows Update and downlaod updates each time you reinstall windows. There are also other extras included like theme patch for WinXP and other visual/performance tweaks.

I'll take a look. Anyway, it's not good have to download all over the patches already aplied. This only fits to new installations I suppose  ;)

5 engines? Whoah!
Title: Re:My Security webpage

5 engines? Whoah!

Hehe actually it has 9 engines right now :)

Engines:
AntiVir
BitDefender
ClamAV
Dr.Web
F-Prot
F-Secure
Kaspersky
McAfee
Norman

I consider this antivirus to be 100% at detection of known virus threats.

I contacted this guy about avast! and he said it will be added when avast! Linux Edition is released in stable version. He also requres automatic VPS updates. If these requrements are meet, avast! will be added among current ones :D Great isn't it? :)

Very good to certificate an infection or if a file is clean.
Works with 'each' file, cannot scan all the HDD  :'(

Jup,but its the best single file check service. If you suspect some file, this is the best way to 100% check it. Unless its a perfectly new threat.
I used KAV single file check before, but since i discovered Jotti's scanner,i never used KAV again. Its included in Jotti scanner anyway hehe :)
