Title: avast failed to detect backdoor vb gen
Post by: melissa on February 29, 2004, 08:39:52 AM: i was got infected by this backdoor recently and and this virus is still there on my pc . i have submitted this file yesterday to avast but it is not added to the detection . sorry for my english ?

If you were using Windows XP, why don't you schedule a boot-time scanning?
If not, I suggest you use the avast! Virus Cleaner: http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclnr.exe

Anything that is not on the list is not recognized.

Hope this explains it a bit.
