Title: What causes these warnings?

Several times over the past couple of days, Avast has shown me the warning:

  Threat blocked
  We've safely aborted connection on codeverge.com because it was infected with HTML:Script-inf [Susp].

Last time it happened, I was not using my browser. So, my question is simply this: What is this and from what program might the issue be sourcing?

Any guidance you can offer will be welcomed. Thanks.
