Hi,
Am running Avast Premium Security on Windows 10.
Have run Smart Scan, & then a Full Scan, to 100%, with no issues.
But when I select Boot-Scan & go to Restart, the pc hangs in Restart, so the Boot-Scan never runs.
Concerned by this.
Please advise.

- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

Avast is 21.7.2481 (build 21.7.6523.689) / UI Version 1.0.663
Win Pro 10, 64 bit.
Windows Version 21H1
Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0
There is no SP mentioned.
No previous AV run on this pc.
Malwarebytes was installed at the same time as Avast.

Read that, thanks - what should I do please?
Btw, during the 'black screen' hang, when I hit ESC, it takes me out of the hang & reboots the pc, but doing this loses me the boot-scan.
Have run boot-scan on the pc numerous times, with no issues. Now it just won't run at all.
