Post by: ccm582 on September 27, 2021, 03:12:11 PM
Is Behaviour Shield, CyberCapture, Hardened Mode and other features in Avast Free also in Avast One?

Hi, see if this helps: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Migrate-One-FAQ

Thank you but this article doesn't say whether Avast One has Behaviour Shield, CyberCapture or Hardened Mode. Also Avast One doesn't have digital certificates to scan HTTPS traffic like other Avast AV programs so I don't know whether it really scans HTTPS or not. And if we uninstall a program, it will still be listed in Avast One's Firewall with no way to delete it like other firewalls.

I guess I will stick with Avast Free AV which has better features. Also Avast One Essential's free 5GB per week VPN is rather little when there are other free VPNs which give unlimited data but only a few locations which I think is a better model.

You're welcome.

Dev-Info: To set expectations right, Avast One is not a replacement of the Antivirus or other Avast products. Avast One is a new product line with a distinct feature set. Pre-existing products remain available, should you prefer to keep those.

Hi,

Avast One has Behaviour Shield, CyberCapture and Hardened Mode (just not named as such - under File Shield). https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/One-FAQ/#idt_4250
It also scans HTTPS (look under Web Shield settings) https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/One-FAQ/#idt_4300
