there's no qurantine option in avast mobile
and btw what is share threat data option what does it share
-
What is in the Avast For Mobile settings > Settings > Notifications & Alerts (you could also check the Activity log) ?
It shares data on detections on your mobile to improve overall protection for all users.
-
i just want to know the name of file it detected and deleted and if can the type of malware it detected
-
where can i found the info of the malware it detected
activity log doesn't show the name of file it deleted
-
First - stick to one topic those trying to help are jumping around answering the same things, duplication of effort.
Second - read the answers/replies before posting, did you check the Notifications & Alerts as I suggested above.
Now please stick to the one topic.
-
what's in notifications and alerts how it can help
i want to know the name of deleted file
-
Stick to one topic please, your other two have now been deleted since you can't adhere to suggestions.
-
i am sorry but i'm really in need of urgent help and i'm new
please guide me how can i know which file was deleted and which type of malware it was
-
DavidR had advised you to check "Notifications and Alerts", which should tell you what was deleted.
-
where it is i'm trying but can't find
-
David i have checked notification and alerts but can't find any option i'm sure somewhere there would be the record of file which was deleted but i don't know how to see it
-
there's something called "clipboard" can that be useful
-
If you open Avast app,
Touch the three lines Menu option top left,
Scroll down to My Statistics and tap.
Does that tell you anything?
You should have seen a Notification in the phone's Notifications area of what Avast found and quarantined. That I believe is where others were telling you to look.
-
Clipboard is where you cut and paste content. e.g. save to clipboard. Maybe Avast found something bad saved in your clipboard.
-
activity log only says 1 problem found and the time when it found it doesn't show the name of file which it detected as malware that's what i want to know
-

I am wondering if you just has a clipboard cleaner notification that spooked you.
I am not sure myself where to locate a quarantined file on AMS.
-

You would be best to create a new thread in the Avast Mobile Security section of the forum as mentioned by CraigB.
There is a section for IOS and Android. Use the one that matches your type of phone.
I have never experienced what you have seen, but others that have had file/s quarantined may be able to help you better than me.
I suspect that by "resolving" the issue yesterday, you have already removed the file and any record of it already.
-
there must be the record of file deleted like any log file hidden somewhere
-
and can you tell me can any malware file hack our photos and and send to any hacker simply if it get downloaded by accident
