Title: Curser Disappears

Aloha,

   Some where I must have picked u some kind of bug that causes my cursor to vanish when it goes over parts of the page on screen.

   On this page, it is gone over the white part like this and reappears over any other part that isn't white.

   I did do a search and nothing came up for courser related problems.

   How do I get it back to normal?

We will need more information to be able to help you:
- Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
- Do you use avast? Any virus was found?
- Which actions have you taken to try solving the problem?
- Any useful information into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events, specially 'Errors'.

Aloha,

   Thank you for all the replies.

   I have Vista Home Premium.  I am still fumbling my way thru all it's features. 

   So far, My opinion on Vista is negative.  I like plain XP better.

   Yes, I am running the latest version of Avast.   

   Some bugs, of which, I know nothing about, were found and quarantined.  I deleted them. 
         There is no change.

   I am Not computer literate.  But, I will keep at looking at the suggestions.

No need to be in a hurry. Files on Chest (Quarantine) are safe... now we can't investigate further...

Please, post the last 100-150 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

   WOW, what a trail.   

   Thanks for the help so far.

   OK, I made it to the log. 

   Now the problem is How do I get it from where it is to here?

   Please take into account that I'm using Vista and am fumbling my way thru it very slowly.

   If you make itlike the previous, I can get it here.

Open it on Notepad.
Copy the last lines (150 or 200), post here the text.
If it overflows the number of characters limit (1000), you can divide it into different posts.

Aloha,

   It seems that I have a problem.

   I opened Notepad\C\Program files\Alwil software\Avast4\data\log      and then I get a blank after log.

   I do itwithout opening Notepad, I can get all the way to the listing. 

   I don't know how to copy the list to get it here.

File > Open
Browse for it...
Open it in Notepad.
