Title: Webpage not loading when VPN is turned on

Since I upgraded to Mac OS Monterey, my browser no longer works when my Avast Secureline VPN is turned on. Both Chrome and Safari does not load but when I turn off VPN, I am able to browse. Is this a compatibility issue with the new MAC OS Monterey? If so, are we looking at a resolution in the near future?
