Title: VPN drops my internetspeed from 600mb to 250mb

Hello,

just upped my avast to premium but I have an issue with VPN. As in titel my interspeed drops from 600mb to 200mb. I know nothing so pls explain in normal langauge if this is normal or just something i need to change. The VPN is connected to optimal server (close by).

Hi,

Did you obtain these (with and without SecureLine VPN) results from speedtest.net or a similar website?
The Optimal server should generally give you the best results but please try a different VPN location as well.
If no noticeable difference, then try changing the protocol (Please open Avast SecureLine VPN and go to Menu > Settings > EXPERIMENTAL > and select "Avast Mimic")
