Title: problem with Outlook/Exchange

The provider is waiting for a subsystem to start

MS outlook 2002  is  on  and thats the message

when i installed Avast 1 month ago  all was fine  and getting 7 out of 7 protection and the Avast flash  when starting Outlook

now since 1 week no more 7/7  now 6 out of 7  and no flash at start of Outlook

tried uninstalled Avast  and reinstalled  still not working

any suggestions

Make sure the avast plugin is not disabled into MS Outlook:

Outlook 2007 > Tools > Trust center > Add-inns > Manage Disabled items.
Outlook 2003 > Help > About > Disabled items.
Outlook 2002 > Help > About Microsoft Outlook > Disabled items.
Outlook 2000 > Tools menu > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Add-In Manager.
