When will Avast Premium Security users will be able to transfer to Avast One?
Is there a specific reason why you would want to make that move?

The user isn't talking about the free account.

When will Avast Premium Security users will be able to transfer to Avast One?
I wouldn't hurry right now.

Both products most likely offer the same level of protection.

But Avast One will for sure have various tweaks and changes in a user interface. And, most likely, a reduced amount of settings and lesser control available among options to make it easier to grasp for majority of not advanced users.

Even if that's what you wish for, logically, Premium Security is a lot more tested currently, compared to relatively new Avast One.
So, you're more likely to encounter bugs or other unexpected behavior if you were to trasfer to Avast One right now.

I'd recommend first giving it some time to get better tested, before trying to switch to it.

Is there a specific reason why you would want to make that move?
I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason would be something like
"Avast One is a cooler name, and it's new! I want to be cool and use new things!".  :)

I wish you would stop assuming and allow the actual person who asked the question post their own answer.
Thanks

Reading about the features again there.

I see that a big list of features is not included in Avast One, which are included in Avast Premium Security.

And I see among unique features of Avast One only VPN, Data Breach Monitoring, and PC Speedup.

It's a known fact that almost any tools advertised as speeding up PCs are either a hoax or things that can potentially do harm, like those registry auto-clean up, etc.
And there's a big question how much speed they actually give.
It's a very broad and vague thing to have as a feature: PC Speedup.

So, basically Avast One is useful only if someone wants to use VPN and Data Breach Monitoring (whatever that is).

But they will lose a bunch of quite useful features from Avast Premium Security they could have otherwise.

Most people probably would be happy with Avast Premium Security more than Avast One.

I'm saying all this, because the name "Avast One" created an implication that it would cover everything possible in one product,
but (at least as of now) it has less to offer than existing products, with a couple of unique things like VPN.

Maybe, calling it "Avast One" wasn't such a great idea?

@ InvisibleMan
Precisely why I asked my question of the original poster.
Please allow that user the opportunity to reply.

To anyone asking why I rather switch to Avast One, is mostly because of the new UI, and the option to have every Avast app in one app instead of having 3 different apps like Cleanup, Driver Updater & Avast Premium Security

The problem is that currently, Avast One is lacking some important security features that are part of
Avast Premium Security. It's also harder to make adjustments in Avast One compared to the version you're currently using.
I'm currently using Avast One and am hoping that Avast will add the missing features and also make
customization easier in this new product release.
You are correct, one product with all the features in one package is a great idea.

You are correct, one product with all the features in one package is a great idea.
Under the hood though, there are still a lot of various processes running though, for all the features.
So, not much different in reality.

If you want the protection, you have to accept the overhead needed to accomplish that task.
