Title: Runscanner, an interesting anti-malware tool..........
Post by: polonus on October 19, 2007, 11:58:16 PM
Hi malware fighters,

We are always on the look-out for the best of both worlds, a tool in-between autorunners, process explorer, and hijackthis. With this in mind some vote for runscanner. How come it is not seen used by malware fighters in the major anti-malware forums? Here is the link of a description of this scanner in the Wikipedia:

Anyone to comment?, here is a tutorial: http://www.runscanner.net/tutorial.aspx

I've used it since from the beginning, early beta versions.
Very good, accurate, the database increases and become more accurate.
It was discussed in the past... http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=29971.msg246941#msg246941

Hi Tech,

Yes, I have read the whole thread now that was started on this tool in August, interesting, and so I will give it a thorough look. Nice software to have next to hjt, freefixer etc, startdreck, startuplist by Soeperman, etc. Thank you for the info, Tech, next time I 'd better use the search function in our webforum ................

Soeperman? As in Soeperman enterprises? That's a scam. The startuplist is builtin hjt!

What the heck are you talking about? Accusing someone of trolling is a classic troll strategy itself. I'm not playing.
