Is the avast firewall including the type of next gen firewall ?

What the ??? is a next gen firewall when its at home ?
How would you determine that it hasn't got the next gen firewall features already.

Questions like this without any reference/s are pretty meaningless.

Avast could well call its current firewall a 'next gen firewall' as it isn't a firewall in isolation as it has the other shields to back that up.

ok, thanks for the answer, I'm asking here because I don't know whether the firewall is next gen or traditional

and now i know that avast firewall includes the latest next gen firewall

I didn't say that at all.  My answer is based on the link I gave and what is considered to be a next gen firewall and much of the points raised are (or are should be) covered by the Avast Antivirus components.  Not just the avast Firewall component.
