Title: AVAST (MSI B450 Tomahawk with 16gb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8800gtx, Samsung 970 EVO)
Post by: driver_1 on January 14, 2022, 01:27:44 AM
I bought a SSD Samsung 970 EVO and installed Windows 11 on it and loaded software. When I installed Avast  free on it I get an error when booting up. I have to go reboot , hit the F5 key and then go into SAFE MODE and then uninstall Avast and then it reboots fine. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. My HDD with Avast on it has no problem, it is just the SSD. Also it is not only Avast, it is also AVG that does the same thing. Any help would be great since I like Avast and have been using it for over 15 years now.

Hi,

What did the error message say? Can you add a screenshot, please?
