With so much new technology on the horizon and the internet probably being overwhelmed already...I believe it's possible for this to happen. Very scary thought indeed.  Thanks for the link .: Mac :.

That's as realistic as thinking that computers have reached they maximum capacity.
When I think back to my Vic20 (3K of Ram) compared to todays Systems.
The end will be reached only after man stops evolving. (Never)  :)

I agree bob, but the problem is Will the big providers like AT&T and Level 3 spend the money to make the necessary upgrades?

It's not like internet is consistet of one PC. There is milions of PCs linked together, scatered acros several continents (just look avast! update servers as an example). Internet can't just die and it can't run out of resources. Only way would be if ALL main DNS servers die together. But i don't think thats quiet possible...
