I don't if I am in the good section. I have Avast free for family. When I right click on a zip file and try to scan '' That say install the Microsoft Office Xp Cd'' Why do I need this cd...? When I press ''x' that say Error 1706 the program cant find the files needed. Can sum1 help me plz.

But, anyway, it's strange that scanning asks for MS Office.
Which is the file path and name that you're trying to scan? Is it related to MS Office?

Any program I download, mp3 zip, from blog etc not related to MS Office ...

What happens if you submit these files to VirusTotal? Are they infected?
Which is your Windows? 98, Me, XP?
Do you use any other antivirus in your computer?
Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
If this does not help, can you uninstall / boot / install / boot again?

First nothing happen . I right click on the files go to ''scan with avast'' click on it. and they say wait they looking for window xp with frontpage ...
My windows is Vista.
I use only Avast Anti virus.
why repair my installation? When I installed avast it said sucessful.
I will try to uninstall and reinstall

I tried to repair the program. Still the same problem ... Microsoft Office Xp Professional with Frontpage wtf? I think avast is not working for Vista .... I tried to remove it and install again .. still the same problem.

I'm (and tons of users) are working with Vista and avast.
When you right click a file and another program is invoked, something messed the context-menu and the Windows Registry keys. A registry cleaner or any bad uninstalled application. There are tools to check it like Context Menu Editor.
But, of course, you need to backup your registry first (with ERUNT) and work very carefully. This tool does not have 'undo' feature. Take care.

Context menu editor is in window vista? Whats Erunt. Why make a backup? How I can know what registry do I need to delete?

Windows Explorer, right click a file. You can use Glary Utilities to manage the context menu too.
