I can configure the way you connect to Internet (dial-up or DSL) into the Updated (Advanced) page of avast! settings. This way you can prevent update errors on boot.

If they do not disappear, then take a look here (http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1647) in the section InetWD and value AlwaysConnectedWaitSeconds to configure the number of seconds to wait before attempting to update. The default is 30 but it may not be enough in some DSL systems.

I support you can access Internet without problems, right?

Can you ping the mentioned server (download1.avast.com)?
What is your avast! setting, regarding the proxy?

Take a look at this one... and guess what...

You don't even have to use Style XP program. Just patch UXTHEME.dll http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/9/3/9-3-8.shtml (http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/9/3/9-3-8.shtml)and you can use it just like ordinary Windows XP theme...

Cheers !

Btw, this one is called Studio28

Btw, ????? Thaiware...

What gender you are ? If photo is yours, it looks like girl... or you are very pretty guy, hehe  ;D Don't feel offended, I just gave you a compliment...

If you are girl, you should change your gender option under PROFILE SETTINGS, 'cause right now it represents you like a male in this forum...

Cheers !
