Hi,
Do you notice the same results for more than one browser?
If you go to Protection > Firewall > Networks, is your current network set to trusted(private)?
-
Avast Premium Security, Smart VPN, Windows 10, Surface Pro7, i7-1065G7 CPU.
After installing Avast, I noticed that when I click on something (anything) in my browsers, there is about a one-second pause before traffic starts moving. It is annoying. I did as you suggested and made sure my network was set to "trusted". I turned the VPN off and normal response/speed returned.
