Title: setting additional definitions for scanning on reboot

Hi folks.

I want to try "scanning on reboot" function. So... i put the button "setting additional definitions", but there is a problem... The setting is endless (for now more than 30 min and still going).

How can i solve this problem?

Hi,

I take it you clicked on "Install specialized definitions" and you did not receive the message that it was installed.
Please try to repair Avast Antivirus https://support.avast.com/article/Repair-Antivirus
