Hi
When trying to watch live TV without VPN it says not allowed outside of Canada. When using with VPN now (has worked years back) I get an error message.
An error occurred (1009m/U1400)
Have attached file.
I have tried Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
thanks

The TV station could very well be blocking any VPN connections.

Yes agreed, which makes this product for me unnecessary. Not sure how the providers figure this out other than from the address which are always the same?
Hopefully get some support or will cancel.
thanks

Hi,
Since the error message is from bell.ca, it might be best to clarify with them.
Apart from what is mentioned here https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/79/ you can also try using the Mimic Protocol ( open Avast SecureLine VPN and go to Menu > Settings > EXPERIMENTAL > and select "Avast Mimic") if you have not tried it yet.

Hi
Saw article 79 the other day and tried a few things. Today tried everything from article, mainly from google chrome. No change.
Tried experimental mode also, no difference. Will try bell again, who initially said it was a browser upgrade and see if they can verify its the VPN catch, which it certainly looks like.
I am good for another few attempts at getting around the error, then will give up.
thanks

Appears to be working now. I will back track my changes and see if this is the sole solution.
thanks, much appreciated.
