Title: how to remove my site from your blacklist
Post by: robert82 on April 22, 2022, 02:56:57 AM
My personal site (hxtps://samotyjek.pl) is listed as suspicious by Avast Online Security and Privacy. Can you remove it from your blacklist (it has been created with weebly which is used by many sites so it is safe for sure). Norton has just reevaluated the site on my request and it is no longer blacklisted by them.

Thank you in advance

First it isn't wise to post active links to suspect sites (regardless if you think they aren't) to avoid accidental exposure.

That said I don't get an alert when I visit with Avast Antivirus, so I don't know why it would cause any warning/alert in the Avast Online Security and Privacy browser extension (which I don't use).

A screenshot of the notification might be helpful, attach it to your next reply.

Reporting a Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php (https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php).
You should get a response in a day or two.
That said I don't know if that is appropriate as it isn't the antivirus that is alerting, make the point in the Remarks that it is related to the Avast Online Security and Privacy browser extension.  You could also give a link back to this topic.

Witam Robert82,

Here the website was given clean: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/076dd06cb685a756b7489d8f0826ac732ceaaa14d147844bd732fb2bfcb9bc39/details

But take this up with your hoster, as website-IP has been reported because of abuse: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/199.34.228.77
and been reported by VT Community members as spreading malware, see:
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ip-address/199.34.228.77
This because of PHISHING and Porn Malvertising (by this Weebly Inc. address).

pozdrawiam,

polonus
