Why does Avast stop my emails?? I have to disable it to receive my emails and I am not happy doing that Please advise me what to do

avast doesn't stop your emails, it just scans, it is most likely your firewall that stops avast.
What is your firewall ?
Does it allow ashMaiSv.exe internet access ?
- If it does delete the entry for it and check for email, this will force the firewall to ask permission again.

Which is your email provider, I mean, what is after the @ on your email?
