Title: This operating system is not supported

Replacement C: drive with Windows 7 Ultimate.
Avast Secureline vpn works on my other pc with the same OS and used to work on this pc with the old C: drive but refuses to install now. What's wrong?

If you receive the message that the operating system is not supported, it generally implies that you are missing service pack 1 - Please see this article for more information: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/install-windows-7-service-pack-1-sp1-b3da2c0f-cdb6-0572-8596-bab972897f61

Yeah, missing service pack 1 was the problem. Solved.
